The Scope of Our Plans

If the Great Commission is true, our plans are not too big; they are too small.P. Morley

Today, a Oneness, Apostolic preacher addressed
the General Assembly of the United Nations for just under ten minutes.

In front of representatives of 167 nations, he gave witness of his being raised from the dead after a massive heart attack, and of  his total healing.

Then, he boldly proclaimed the only saving message: "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." He concluded with the words; "...I give you Jesus."

That is what we should be shooting for, praying for, seeking after: the greatest possible opportunities (within the scope of holy proclamation) to announce this Message to a Hell-bound world. For, after all, this IS the only saving Message...right?

If it is - and it is – then we truly need to realize that "our plans are not too big; they are too small."

Time is very, very short. The need is very, very great. It is time to start asking our God for really big things. No, not unprofitable and unwholesome things like television programs/advertising for our churches (besides, studies have more than shown these things are not effective in winning souls); instead, we need to go about expanding our thinking to accommodate the scope of the need – and the Power with which we have been endued. Mark 16:15-18 is truly eye-opening!

Why should we not be asking and believing God for – and keeping an eye out for – opportunities to speak at town council meetings...PTA meetings...State governments...religious gatherings? They must have this Truth, if Truth it be! And we dare not keep it to ourselves...

If the Great Commission is true...it's time for Great Thinking. A condemned world is dependent on it.

We must give them the greatest gift we have.

We must give them Jesus.
